I'll be there Thursday afternoon and Friday. Bringing my baby twin brother.

If you see two grandfathers made of twisted steel and sex appeal it probably isn't us.

I had planned on not going this year, but when my better half found that out, she said nothin' doin'. I said gas is to much, she said she's buying. I'm a little concerned about her mental well being. She apparently likes to stare at the running engines in the buildings and watch all the "monkey motion". Next, she'll want her own engine. Oh well, things could be worse.

I noticed something REALLY odd. This site is mostly about antique gas engines. All these stakkers are going, YET there is NO MENTION of Coolspring in the events calendar...... NOT ONE person from the organization could be bothered to post a listing???????

Or is the show THAT important that everyone should already KNOW (via ESP?) the dates and times?

I'm not saying this to be nasty, just thinking it's... as I said, odd.

Allen, I hate to even respond to that! For not wanting to sound "nasty" you sure did a poor job of it! Have you not noticed that at the top of the list there is a notice about domestic engine talk at Coolspring? also if you search the word Coolspring there IS a LOT of info out here about it Mike O'Malley

Mike, I simply wished to point out that if a show of this importance to you fellows is NOT on the calendar of a website you all ALSO seem to feel is important to the hobby, it sends a VERY mixed message. Doesn't it?

BTW, I posted the dates for our local club's shows...it took maybe 5 minutes, 10 max.... for THREE listings. It wasn't very onerous, or inconvenient. Heck, if dumb ole me can do it, then just about ANYONE can, lol.

Just give me ONE good reason why it SHOULDN'T be listed before you take me to task for pointing out it wasn't...ok?

Here's a VERY good reason to post the dates on the calendar, here and elsewhere....I worked at the Sunoco station today in Indiana, Pa. (about half an hour South of Coolspring). Had THREE carloads of people stop who said they were on their way to the show-- They ALL said the SAME thing..."But it's ALWAYS Father's Day weekend!"

I scheduled my vacation for the same as mentioned above( father's day weekend ). I doubled checked their web site and was suprised it was late this year. Sure glad I did instead of wasting all that gas ( 700 miles ) one way, to find out I picked the wrong weekend.
