Default South African Locomotive Derailment

This was posted on Friends of the Rail this morning:
Someone stole 30 ties ( sleepers ) and a Fathers Day excursion derailed.
No one was hurt.

Kind of like lifting manhole covers for the scrap metal.

Someone went to a lot of trouble just for a few RR ties.If that had been here in the USA you would be tripping over CNN and Fox and all their junk.----------------------------------------TWD

What a terrible shame. Thank God as it appears that no one was injured and I hope the old girl isn't too badly damaged.

Wow.
Those people that stole them must be really dumb. If they can work that hard for some pittly ties think how much good they coulda done with that much "ambition" (ENERGY) if they put it to good uses.
