Default New Zealand Crankup.

G,Day Guys,
About a month ago there was a crankup in my yard. People came from all over. We are in the center of the South Island and we had engines from the West Coast, Southland, Canterbury and the top of the South Island.
Fifty engines on the Saturday and fourty four on Sunday. These included Internationals, Witte, Associated, Petter, Cooper, Two very nice Tangyes, Blackstones, some hot air engines, some NZ made engines--Anderson, Greenslade, Morrin, Simplex. A nice selection of small air cooled engines, Two Hornsby's.and the usual Listers.
There was no club affilation but several clubs were represented and the idea of the crankup that a small group of local entheusists orginised, was to generate local interest and for people to bring an engine that they wanted help with.
Some stayed the night so it became very sociable after a BBQ and a few drinks.

The above post seemed to post it self before I finished and had a chance to tidy it up.There was a very early Gardner there and for some it was the first time they had displayed an engine.
Here is the Link to the Photos.
Regards,
Merv,
