Photo Champion 38 spark plug question

I picked up some nos spark plugs among them is this Champion 38 3/4 inch long reach plug. I haven't seen this plug before and have had no luck findng out what these were used on. Looks to be a 7/8" thread. Could anyone shed some light on this? Thanks in advance for any help, Den
