Default Novo Rollr with wrong Mag

I have a parallel twin cylinder Novo that I picked up without a magneto. I picked up a Fairbanks Morse mag that I believe came off a v4 Wisconsin engine. The Novo fires the second cylinder 270 degrees after the first. Should be the same degrees as the two front or rear cylinders of the Wisconsin V4. I'm thinking about driving it with a bicycle chain and sprockets.

That bring me to my question. The mag is a flange mount with a gear on it that I'm sure ran in oil. Does the mag bearings use oil for lubrication?
