Here's a photo in a museum in Invercargill. It is a replica of the bike that he took to the Bonneville salt flats where he set several records.

The above photos are of a replica that is in the motorbike museum in Invercargill
The original is in E Hayes hardware shop, also in Invercargill, A very unique shop that also houses a collection of motorbikes cars and stationary engines https://www.ehayes.co.nz/

Each year the Southland Motorcycle club hold the Burt Munroe Challenge, that attract motorcycle enthusiasts from all over NZ, Australia and now from all over the world. I have been in Invercargill when that is on but not as an enthusiast.

Invercargill also has the Bill Richardson Transport museum. The collections there also has the worlds largest private collection of trucks. Well worth a visit.

Fascinating story. A friend (RIP Dan E.) lent me the movie out of the blue 4years ago. He somehow saw my quiet, extreme interest in speed.
Down here on a road verses in the sky at 550, I've been at 110 MPH in a little '73 German, Ford Capri I had when I was young.
200 on a bike? Wow.
Enjoyed every moment of the movie and the research after.
Thank you for starting this.
