Default Unknown Post Drill Press, Champion?

We bought this unit at a rummage sale yesterday. Most everything is turning already, except the threaded feed rod to wheel. We plan to get it working and mount it on the same skid as our Hoefer power hack saw and let the Cushman X-21 run both of them at the shows.

Does anyone know what make and model this might be? The design looks a lot like some of the ones made by Champion Blower and Forge Company of Lancaster, PA, but all of those I found pictures of had the name cast into the web of the main frame. I can't find a name anywhere on this, just a couple casting numbers, a C2 on the main frame, and a C21 on the feed lever.

WOW, I finally found a match to this one, same part numbers and all, at this site...

Unfortunately, it was listed in the "UNKNOWN" maker section.

I received an email from the guy that has the drill in the above link, and he still hasn't found out who made it. So now there's two of us that have one of these that would like to know who made them. Any useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

YeeHaa, after a couple days of soaking with PB Blaster, the feed screw and nut are now loose, and everything is working as originally designed. Now, on to figuring out how to mount it safely and get belted up for shows.

First time on display with our new post drill press, the annual parade along the North side of Fox Lake, WI to celebrate our nation's birth. We managed to drive careful enough to keep the Cushman X-21 running the whole way.

Next weekend at the Garden Tractor Daze show in Portage, WI, we'll get the feed arm back on and start drilling some holes.
