Any ideas on what this carb went to and who made it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Wow, Stakers stumped. Guess I don't feel so bad now not knowing what this carb is!

My guess is that it is off an antique outboard. Not sure who makes it, ive never seen a carburetor quite like that before.

Has an early Tillotson look to me. Very unusual carb!

I was leaning toward a outboard motor carb as well, but then there is also a couple of screws that are safety wired together which leads me to believe that maybe this is off of a aircraft engine of some sort. It's got me stumped as well! I've been pretty much searching the internet, books and pretty much any engine/motor related literature I can find, and nothing!

Funny, as I sit here a taking lunch break I did a quick search on antique outboard motors and wouldn't you know it I find a few carbs that look very similar to mine. Im for sure it is a Tillotson MS series carb, Like here https://www.smokstak.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32435 and here https://www.smokstak.com/forum/showthread.php?t=105005 and there are some carbs that are very similar used on Muncie and Neptune outboards. There are still a few things that stand with mine, such as the add on choke tube and arrestor screen and also there is no marking anywhere on it except pats pending.

Success! My carburetor is a Tillotson MS-83AX and is specific to the Eclipse Aviation Corp, model's M-3017 and 3359. Thanks everyone for the input.
