Default Rayo Hot Blast Lantern

with the Rayo Hot Blast globe, covered with rough rust spots through “HEAVY” yellow paint, to add to the "LANTERN" collection . Some light sanding, brought up the writing on it. What are the best way’s you have found to remove the rust & paint without damaging the lantern? Another nice find at the “FLEA” market in NJ, while just having “FUN” on the way through .

Low pressure soda blasting should clean it up without damage.

Talk to these people on Facebook, they do it all the time.https://m.facebook.com/groups/152180...f=group_browse
FYI, Rayo was a Standard Oil trademark, most likely Deitz made the lantern.
