Default Galloway Mixer needle valve

I need to find or fabricate a needle valve for this mixer from a 6 HP Galloway. This is not an early engine and I think it may be from the last years of production. Can anyone provide a photo or a drawing ? Can a valve from a Lunkenhiemer be used ? I would appreciate any help as this is the last thing I need to complete this engine. Thanks.

I dont have a valve for you but before you buy or make one check the threads per inch and stem size that you will need. Many of the engines I have worked on had uncommon tpi`s (threads per inch). 1/4- 18 tpi as opposed to the nowadays common1/4-20 etc.

Hi, Presuming you have a Galloway with the rounded hopper and oval water opening, a lunkenheimer will certainly work, although not correct. These engines used a variation of the Lunkenheimer mixer. No name, possibly their own make. No pictures but look on cover of Wendel's yellow book, inside under Galloway also, if you have one. Sure someone will post a picture.
