Photo Unidentified Gas Engine From Our Farm

I'm looking for help in identifying this gas engine that used to be on our farm.
I'm sorry the photo isn't better, but it's all I have.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

International Harvester type M. It's difficult to tell the size because they all look alike, but that one is probably either a 3hp or a 6hp.

I also see a 3hp IHC "M".

Best guess would be a 3 HP IHC M. Do you know when the photo was taken?

I would guess the photo is pre WW2 as the farm was "electrified" in the late 1940's.
