I have just seen this posting about P&H engines; it does not seem to have been active for a few years; if anyone needs information on the model 387, I have one on my boat and I have the shop manual and parts list and quite a few spares. Anyone want information or has parts, let me know.

Hello,
I see your post of possobly having litature on P&H engines I have a 1950 cadillac coupe that has a 4cyl p&h. from research I belive its the 487c-18. Unforunately it is locked up so wanting to rebuild but not much information available. I notice the starter is missing.

Zeb, the engine in your car is not a 487c. The 487 is an inline engine with much larger piston and cylinder dimensions.
