Default Coolspring show

This will be my first attending a show and and I'l be bringing a nice little flywheel engine and its belt driven generator for display. Since I wil be displaying my engine for the public wil I be charged an admission? I can sleep in my subaru at night and then be there for the most part of the following day. I've never participated in an antique show so all the information you guys can give me will geatly appreciatedl I've chosen Coolsprings as it is close to me

Cool Spring show was June 19-21 unless you mean the fall show, Oct. 16-18.
I don't believe they charge for exhibiting. They do ask for a $25 swapper's donation if selling. I'm sure they will be glad to see your Carisle & Finch engine/generator.

flasks,

You would be more than welcome to attend the Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Society show in Saegertown, PA on July 18, 19 & 20. We have shower facilities for people that want to camp. Exhibitors are always admitted for free. We also sponsor an engine show at Drake's Well Park near Titusville each fall. This year's show is on September 20. If you would like more information, pm me and I will give you my phone number. If you prefer, our web site is http://www.little-mountain.com/pioneer/.

flasks,

We do not charge admission for exhibitors at our shows. If you are selling you will be asked for a $25 swappers fee. You can sleep in your Subaru or bring a tent if you like ,whatever suits you. Although, you may be blown away by all you see and may not be able to sleep. We look forward to having you and your display.

Thanks so much for your reply although just three days ago my wife had a massive heart attack and required a 3-bypass operation. I may not be able to attend any show this summer although "stac" guys will be welcome to my home where I can give them a personal demonstration of my little C & F engine and generator setup. Have a great day. flasks

We will all pray for your wife. I hope she comes out of this OK. Go to any show you can to relax. Take your wife whenever possible. Life is short and can be bruttal. I have four very close people with cancer right now. It can really bring you down, but these people need you to be upbeat and encouraging. Good luck. M&W Joe
