Default 600 hp Snow at Coolspring

Does anyone know when they are planning to start this engine? Or has it already happened?

Love to see a video of it when it's running.

I think the plan is to have it ready next year.

I believe 2012 is a better guess at this point, but maybe Mr. Austin will chime in...

I thought it was 2011 too. From their website it looks like they are close. I plan on going next June.

Well, we would have liked to have it running next year, but that will not be the case. We have had a few projects the needed to be completed this year and that took precedence over the Snow project. And the great volunteer help we have at CPM does gets spread quite THIN from time to time. And as many of you know all the projects that are accomplished at Coolspring are manned by volunteer labor, many, many thanks to these wonderful generous people. Also we are a little short on funds for the Snow project and that also slows things down a little. So I want to apologize if anyone feels let down that the Snow will not be running in 2011, we will do our best to have it running in 2012, although it may wind up being 2013 depending on funding for the project.. And if anyone would like to help volunteering ,or to help with funding this project, please contact myself, or the museum.
