Cool 1912 Stover 6 hp ODX Tank Cooled vs Screen Cooled

Bettendorf Cart with Water Pump bracket positioned at the front .
No visual holes for Water Pump or Bracket at The Centre of The Cart adjacent to Screen Tank .
Question : Were all Stover Engines on Bettendorf Cart manufactured with Screen Cooler on The Water Tank . Why would a Water Pump be positioned at the front . ? Were Stover's ordered for a Specific Work .?
