Default Austrian make of mag?

Got the mag off the early ported exhaust German air cooled gen set --see it in the gen set forum--the make is A U other info is # A1 & 12364 stamped into side base --on the brass cover over the points is Stamped AUS--Austria?? any help appreciated It seems complete & in decent condition

Goodday To look at it it does look similar to a bosch, however it had Au cast into the top inside of the body, as well as Au on the side plate--thanks Larry

I think you will find that the "AU" is a model number not country of origin.
