Question Re: 1 HP upright Maytag information and photos

Hi looking for info on a 1 hp I have it has no serial # on it
looks like a maytag but not sure might be a Elgin, the bolts
that hold the tank to the base are like a flat head screw. Any info would be great might be interested in selling.

Tom, can you pm, email me or post close up pictures of your Elgin/Maytag 1/2 hp around the carb & bearing mounting bolts.

Thanks, Kevin

Tom, are those mufflers on the Elgin's original? If anyone desires to repro them I wouldn't mind being in on it for one.

Kevin the Elgin 1 HP mufflers are reproductions from Bob Kubish.

I'm still trying to figure out information on my upright. So far I have concluded it is a "d" carb. Not sure what year it is or if the colors are correct.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chris
