It depends on the weather, rain keeps the tire kickers away but not the hard core engine people. We stay in Brookville. Not quite big as June but lots to see and buy. If there are showers you go inside the many building then back outside after the rain stops. Its a win win situation .

A few years ago I took a tent and a display and went to the show at Cumming, GA in November with our two small boys and a tent. We live near West Palm Beach, Florida and the drive was about 12 hours north and it had to be at least -60 in the tent the next morning even though we took a small electric heater. I can remember that we all had our own bed at the start of the night, and by morning they were crammed into my sleeping bag with one sleeping bag under us and one on top of mine and we were still on an air matress and it was just COOOOOOOOLD!!!!................ We must be wimps with thin blood, but they ask me every year if we are going back to Georgia camping in the fall but due to a change in their school schedule I have to tell them no...............

Would we do it again, of course! But I would make a few changes like cots so the heat from the heater could flow under our beds...............and electric blankets............................... and electric pajamas.............our little summertime tent (for Florida) was not the proper model for that Arctic cold......................

Go to the show and have fun and enjoy your tent!

Any trip to Coolsprings is worth it.

You can make a real rustaholic trip of it

Visit Coolsprings on Friday and part of Sat. then drive about 3 hours east on RT 80 to the eastern PA border and go to the Jacktown show near Bangor, PA. and pitch your tent overnight.

Both are really wonderful shows and both have flea markets and great food.

The soup at Jacktown. is absolutely great.

I can't believe someone from Quebec Canada is worried about a little cold weather overnight.. Jacktown has a late January where a lot stay over in tents and campers.

Check the calendar above for information.

Just above Bangor you can go through the Pocono's and pick up RT 84 east to pick up the NY thruway to get back to Quebec or you can go west on 84 and catch RT 81 to the Thousand Islands and then go through Ottawa or up along the St. Lawrence River.

Wherever you go it will be a lot warmer than Quebec.

Enjoy the shows.

Either way both shows are well worth the time.

Brian this is a easy fix for you. Bring your tent and about 300 feet of extension cord and a electric blanket. Problem solved.
