Default Coolspring 2010 pics/report

Ok guys,

Missed the show this year due to a big project @ work with a deadline that conflicted with the show. Doubly sucks cause this show has been a yearly ritual with gramps for quite a while. Let's see some pics/vids of the good stuff that those of us that couldn't attend this year missed!!

Thanks,

Rich

Here are some pictures I took. Usually most of the engines at Coolspring are high quality, here is just a few. Great weather this year, couldn't have asked for better.

Well, I can say that this year was one of the best if not the best June show I have been at in the last 25 years. Great crowd, great people, great engines, absolutely perfect weather ( for once )

Shelby,

Nice work posting a picture of my Jacobson engine (The one in back of the silver truck). There were plenty of great engines on display on the museum grounds. The Jacobson brand was well represented, with various sizes, types and kinds on the field.

Definitely a great show and worth the 8 hour drive from MA.

It took a little while for me to download pictures and compress them to fit here. Out of all the fabulous engines I saw, this was absolutely the most impressive to me. I don't know the scale, but this Schleicher Schumm was entirely fabricated without castings. The workmanship was absolutely incredible and it ran like a watch. I'm just sorry that I was too mesmerized to shoot a video of it running.
