Hi Don.
I just went out to the shed and checked for numbers again. I looked on the flywheel hub, both rims and the face, also the crankshaft end and can find no numbers anywhere. I restored this compressor several years ago. I electro-stripped all the castings then and found no numbers then either. The only part of this unit that is not original is the control wheel for the clutch which was missing when I got it.

Daniel; I also have a 1 1/2 hp that has no serial number anywhere. Even the nametag has no serial number. It is a Titusville engine.

Chad; Your engine appears to have been made in 1912, maybe early 1913.

Chad; Your cart looks like it might be original. Can you post more pictures of it?

The Mascot engine. Two pages that I haven't shown. To my knowledge there is only one left in existence. It doesn't have the shroud.
Once again, I am about out of information to post. If you have any information or a question, please post it.
If you have pictures or serial numbers post them. I know that there are more Jacobson engines out there.
Denis will add any serial numbers to the list.
Spring is here. Dig out your engines and send the serial numbers and pictures.
Keep the thread going.

Don, can you email me "full size" version of these Mascot pages to be added to the Mascot info pages?
Thanks!
