Default 1919 International Truck

I recently purchased a 1919 Int'l truck with solid tires and wooden spoke wheels. It's pretty complete but rough. Does anyone know where to get new wood wheels made? old rancher

Witmer Coach Shop, 1070 W Main Street, in New Holland, PA 17557, phone 717-656-3411 made the rear wheels for my 1919 Bethlehem truck. Very nice job on them. Even pressed my new hard rubber tires on the wheels. Keith Ernst

Old Rancher
I have a 1920 IH truck and had the front wheels were made by Stutzman wheel works in Baltic Ohio. It cost about $ 300. A wheel in 2010.

Several of us pre 1930 International owners are getting together on the internet using.

About 15 years ago I spent an afternoon at Witmers Coach shop in New Holland Pa., went there to buy a roll of Buggy topping to make the fringe for around the roof on our Peerless, the folks there gave me a tour, I watched the wheel wright for about an hour and a half , that man was a true craftsman and his work was something to see.

Very nice people and great to do business with.
