Schacht, from Cincinnaati, Ohio, is another of the old familiar (well, relatively familiar) names...
Beginning as a buggy maker, they moved into motor cars 1904-13 or so (Std Cat US Cars) before giving them up to concentrate on trucks, with a few buses...
Truck production began in 1909 and ran up into 1938, lasting a good deal longer than most of the Independent builders/assemblers...
They get practically a full page in Mroz's Truck Ency; many, many more only get a paragraph or two...

Bud,
Thanks for posting that info.I was actully able to find that same info myself as i have been doing some of my own research on the company over the past few days.I was able to find out a timeline of when they were in bussiness and what make of engine they used thru the WEHS since the ad ubove does not list what make of engine the truck had.You would not happen to know what model of Waukesha engine they used same goes for the magneto?.From what i can tell the Canadian Division in Hamilton was in bussiness from about 1912 - 1914 ?

Sorry, most of my old calaogs don't go back to 1912-14...
A 1930 McCord gasket catalog does list several Wauks, but has no year designations---models
"LNW6-R-&17 Bus---3-31/2-5-7Ton"---Wauk 6KU
"T-TT5---21/2-5T"---6XK
"JW"---2T"---6XL
"60, 70---13-15T" (no typo)---6SRL These are most likely from later years...
HOWEVER, there might be a way to pin down your 12-14 engine use...
hathitrust.com has a free library of, among other things, old vehicle Trade Journals (The Automobile, Commercial car Journal, The Commercial Vehicle, The Motor Truck, ad nauseum)...with full view available generally from the OOs to 1922 or so...WITH the ability to search within each volume AND the ability to rotate those vertical specs lists to horizontal...
The magazines lived, partly, on free publicity handouts from builders, who were desperate to get their specs to the public; you might find some Schacht articles disclosing engine makes and/or models...

A 1922 Dykes Automotive Encyclopedia has data on Schacht trucks. Dykes did not change the stats over the years, so these could represent earlier models?
They give the following:

- Model F - 3 tons - Buda 4-cylinder - 4-1/4x5-1/2

- Model E - 4 tons - Buda 4-cylinder - 4-1/2x6

About a year ago we lost one of Canada’s greatest Canadian vehicle historians. Glenn Baechler was all class and I’m very glad to have known him. One of his projects “ Cars of Canada” should be part of all Canadian vehicle enthusiasts library’s. Here’s an exert from the book describing the Schacht co history... Beaver, at one time was Canada’s biggest truck builder with 62 dealers in Ontario. They ran from 1918 to 1923 and built every kind of truck from bare chassis’s to buses and fire trucks.
