Default Fruit Jar Buzz Coil

Hello- I thought I'd post this to see if anyone on here had ever seen one of these before. I picked it up at a swap meet a while back and the fellow that had it thought it was an electric fence charger. He had put the orange paint on it, but didn't know what to do with it. I thought it looked like a buzz coil, so I took it home and had some fun with it!
Anyone ever seen one of these?

Here's a video of it working and a pic of the shorted capacitor.

hotrodzz4- Thanks, that's what I was looking for! Doing a Google search for "Shox-Stok" shows all kinds of info. It sure seems like a wet branch laying on your electric fence would either run a battery down really fast, or burn up the transformer! I've got a modern electric fence charger, so I'm gonna run this thing on a Frankenstein IHC 3Hp flywheel engine I'm working on. Should be a coool display!
Thanks-
