Default New changes coming concerning Ebay/Paypal!

I just read an article that Ebay is going to make all payment transactions go thru Paypal starting in Australia. Sounds like this could be the test market before they roll these changes out to all of us. follow the link to read all of the article.

And also, when you are a seller, they are going to hold your money that the buyer sends through paypal for 31 days, Or untill the buyer receives the item and leaves possitive feedback... Im still waiting on buyers to leave feedback from 2 years ago.... Guess i will start selling on www.wagglepop.com

All I know is I paid someone through PayPal over a week ago and it still shows "pending" even though the money has been drawn out of my bank account... I could have sent a cashier's check or money order and it would have been there by now and I'd probably have my blast cabinet!

I'm just about done with the whole eBay/PayPal thing. Went since 2001 without any real bad experiences, over 200 items bought/sold without a problem... until now. And it's not the seller or buyer - it's their stupid bureaucracy getting in the way of smooth, quick transactions. A couple more like this and I'll cancel my accounts.

That sight bears a very strong resemblance to EBAY...any chance they might be related?

Are there any other auction sites besides that wagglepop?
I just spent about 25 minutes perusing the site and there's very little of anything there at all! Almost every category or sub category that I visited had "0" items and some had items that were mis-categorized..
Craigs List (supposedly owned by evil Bay) is great and it's free for most part anyway but it's too localized and you only see what's listed in your area or you go to each State and then into the different areas in that State and that's a PITA to do that unless you use one of the "speed checkers sites" and even that's a pain!
And trying to post something for sale is something else! You can only post your ad in one area and can't re post it every 2-3 day's for 45 day's..

As Harry Truman would so aptly put it were he still around "that's horse shit what eBay is cookin"!

It's kind of a catch 22...There won't be much to buy until people start using the site, but people won't use the site until they find something interesting to buy...and so on..and so on...

It's possible that the seller changed their e-mail address, but didn't change it in the PayPal window when they listed the item. Been there, done that. I'd contact the seller and see what's up.

A couple of weeks ago I was going to list an item for sale on ebay and it said that due to my low number of transactions (I have 63) that I would have to accept Paypal. Unless I read it wrong, I probably won't be selling anything more on there.

Try "Craigslist helper". it lets you look in your surounding areas easyer then one state and one city at a time. I have bought and sold many items on craigs list and even got some great free items. I havent been to Ebay in months
