Default 1907 Davis with original truck

I saw this interesting 1907 Davis engine at the Paris Illinois show. I was wandering if there were very many of these around?

The truck is original but the fuel tank has had the side replaced.

Every body says, boy that's a very rare engine! But then when I start checking around I find four or five of them.

Do any of you have one of these nice old engines? It sat there and ran all day without missing a beat.

Don, what kind of governor does this engine use? Looks like the Galloway except for the governor.

Galloway bought out Davis. You sure don't see many of them, but I think the rare one is the tank cooled engine.
