Default More Help Needed to Identify

Anyone possibly have an idea on this, i was thinking an injector? I couldn’t find no name, but does have the number “2” on it.

It looks like a pump run off of an eccentric to me, but might be a fuel pump for a gas engine or water pump.

Appriciate your help and thoughts on this. I got this item from a passed friend who used to have a 25hp Ajax, 22.5 Bessemer, and a 15hp Pattin. I guess this would not possibly be for one of them engines perhaps?

Looks like a cooling water or fuel pump from a gas engine. Steam engines usually had a larger pump cylinder than that.

It's gonna be difficult to identify exactly what manufacturer this pump is from, but we all agree that it is an eccentric driven piston pump. May have been for fuel. May have been for cooling water of a marine engine.

Best we can do with what we know.
