Default Clinton B-760 coil

Hello, all. Have a little B-760 Clinton on a mud pump I'd like to get going at some point. The coil insulation is completely gone and, naturally, the coil itself has failed.
Some time ago I had loads of old Tecumseh's around, not so anymore. But from what I saw, the coil looked a lot like a 60's Tecumseh internal magneto, say off a push mower.
To those who have found bad coils, is there anything that can be retrofitted?

The old Tecumseh coils are readily available and cheap. I've substituted on a Clinton but don't remember the model. See a post titled Briggs ZZ coil repair for links to KD Redd's coil fixes.
