Default John Deere Model E 3HP Speed

The manual for this machine says speed can be adjusted from 50% to 100% [i assume by the governor] what is actually the rpm range of this motor?
Appreciate the help!
Am trying to determine if this is a good match to run a JD2 sheller - HP seems right and am trying to confirm speeds with 6" motor pulley and 10" sheller pulley.

Most engines in that HP range seemed to be in the 500-600RPM range. so 6/10ths of 600RPM is 360RPM, which is too fast. I think most shellers like to be about 100RPM give or take.

Deere engines are typically rated at 600 rpm. Theoretically you can slow one down to 300 rpm. Generally it takes a little fiddling to get the engine to run right that slow. Usually the speed adjustment spring lacks sufficient tension to keep the engine running at that speed.

Thanks. If the motor can be set to operate at 300 rpm and using the pulley ratio of 6”/10” or 60% - the sheller should operate at 180 rpm which should be well below the 300 rpm rated max for the sheller.
