It would be worth the trip to see that left-handed associated air cooled engine they have advertised at the bottom of their add in GEM!.. ..I kept looking at that engine and couldn't quite figure out why it looked so different...Then it hit me that it was backwards!...What a great advertising trick! And they think we don't pay attention to details in that magazine.

Nice to see at least three people will be there. We are taking one of our trailers down this weekend to get our show spot.Has anybody seen Ed the leroy guy, just wondering if he got that big engine running that he has been working on.

My brother Art and I will be down to see you Thursday and Friday. No time to show but still fun to try and see it all. Enjoyed your layout last year. Would like to see that Delco plant running again. Only one I have seen running. Hope it is cool and dry.

I will be there sometime Wednesday with a couple of engines (no Gilson - I sold mine several years ago). Look for me near the gas engine registration shack.

We took the campers down last saturday, got the display set out. Rained real hard, rained on sunday. I live 35 miles north and we had over 3 inchs of rain yesterday. and talking like lite rain today. Might be interesting getting out to my camper tommarrow. Oh well been wet and muddy before. sounds like wed thurs fri should be nice. Will be back on friday for a quick report. Bob, Hey Harry swing by this show on your way home next year.

Bob,that reminds me of the time my family tent camped at Old Threshers.
Midnight big rains caused the tent with my brother and I to slide then roll
down a hill. Had fun driving out next day.

I will try to look you guys up...I am planning on heading out tomorrow night after work towards Mt. Pleasant...I am going to spend the day looking around...I was last out there in 1998 (I think)...Might have another staker with me for the trip...Then off to Edgerton, WI for Sunday with engines.

Its friday theres more engines than last year. the weather is great, attendence is up things are great.had to come home and get my paycheck. not sure about saturday but will be there early sunday for breakfest. Bob

Hey Bob what a great show this year!
I wanted to thank you Luke and Larry for the personal demonstration of the working Delco Plant. It was really neat to learn it normally runs on kerosene as well as it's electrical inner workings.

I spent hours going through all the engines. There were over 700 plus tractors. When they are staging for the parades you can hear and see 100 years of tractor history running. It was simply tractor heaven. Well I guess you had to be there. We will see you again next year.

Glad you had a good time. It got a little wet sunday and monday. Looking forward to next year already have some good ideas. There was alot of nice displays this year. I even got to ride on a traction steam engine. Bob
