I did an internet search for this carb but cant seem to find its application. I found a list of Oliver carbs but it list, in part, TSX-37 and then TSX-48 skipping over the 38. Any ideas?

After some heavy searching I finally found at least one reference to this carb being for a Ford power unit, dont know what years or what exact engine though.

The Massey Ferguson TO 35 used a carb just like that one.

I have a copy of the Marvel Schebler salesmans condensed catalog from Feb 1961, All I can come up with is Ford industrial power unit, I scanned the entire catalog and that is the only application for the tsx 38.

Zenith / Marvel Schebler 1-400 catalog only lists it as for Ford industrial power units. 012522 Zenith carb is listed for it's new replacement and that is a universal Zenith carb for most all 4 cylinder older Ford tractor engines 8N, 9N, 600 & 700 series.

Firewood guy, I have a WW II steel wheel 2n Ford that requires a TSX-38. I need one, so do you still have one and would you be interested in selling it.
Thank you

The only difference between the 33 and the 38 is the choke shaft. If you can't find a 38, get a 33 which shouldn't be hard to find and put your choke shaft in it. You'd have the identical carb and not too expensive either.

Interesting carburetor...what's inside it? If you can take some pictures of the insides and send to me, I'd appreciate it.
