Now if someone could explain new car adds. I note that Chevy adds never show the vehicle moving.

One thing that seems to be mandatory if the ad is for a poser-mobile (SUV) is that there MUST be a shot of it splashing through a PUDDLE!

Then, compare that to the old films of GM putting Corvairs through their paces not by splashing through a puddle, but driving them IN rivers!!! I'm sure they cleared any large rocks out of the way first, but still.

I just printed it out as well. I saw a dealer ad last night advertising Dodge Ram and the new Jeep Gladiator pickups. They said the price of the Ram and kept talking about the Gladiator, but never did say anything about the price on it. They must really be proud of them!
