I'm building that one right now. Matthias Wandel has a great website at www.woodgears.ca. I've been watching his site for years and really enjoy it.

I just completed my wood air engine build. What a fun little project. I have it powered by a vacuum cleaner.

interesting video, i assume a steam engine works pretty much the same way.

So my question is has anybody tried to make castings with the same parts and tried it has a metal version. I really do like the fact that they did it in with wood.
