Default Old Shipyard in St. Catherines, Ontario

This is interesting. They are going to unearth an 150-year old shipyard.

More pics. Who knows what will show up. http://bmd.stcatharines.library.on.c...dry+dock&st=kw. I wonder if that will start a trend of investigating more sites...

We probably need to be doing more of that. There are the British teevee shows like Time Team where they tear into properties and uncover amazing things. We do not have the industrial or settlement history like Britain, but still go back several hundred years.
There is an old agricultural foundry not far from here that I would like to see dug. Some guys have found stuff there, such as reject castings like wrenches!
