Default Cockshutt 40

Hello! i have just bought a cockshutt 40 with the buda 6 cylinder.I have removed the carb to rebuild and found that the id tag is worn to where you cant read it.Its a zenith.If anybody has a kit number that would work that would be great.Thank you!

Should be the same kit as the 44 massey, D C 4 case , Oliver 70, and a few others. try Stiener tractor parts.

A very highly regarded source on the Cockshutt Buda's is Phil Heisey--philnoreen@verizon.net, 215-256-8654, fax 215-256-1203 per my notes. Good luck.

Since you live in Indiana, V. E Petersen over in Moline Ohio (A suburb of Toledo) is the largest dealer for Zenith Carburetor parts east of the Mississippi River. I think I might have the numbers for you.

Model of the carburetor is listed as a 162J9-10946A for a 40 Cockshutt.
