Default Engine shows in Michigan early August

I am planning my escape from the Texas heat next August. Will be in the upper Michigan area(Petoskey) early August. My brother in law told me there was a show not too far away. He is not an engine guy and had no details. I used to get the show directory from GEM, but haven't in the last few years. Looking for info on any shows in Michigan. Headed to Rollag for the Otto Expo when I leave Michigan.

Buckley is probably the closest in proximity to Petoskey. I think that's usually the 3rd weekend of August.

Hi Dwayne,
Welcome to Michigan.
You can access the show directory at:
https://www.farmcollectorshowdirectory.com/listings/
Buckley is the big show for Aug.,15-18,'19
https://www.farmcollectorshowdirecto...d-engine-show/
LOTS of steam, 25+, big gas tractors, some gas engines, 2 railroads.
Walloon Lake, near Petoskey, was July 25-28 this year.
Oakley, near Flint is the same week as Buckley. BIG tractor show, pull.
On your way to Rollag, Escanaba is same weekend. Far west Upper Peninsula, MI near WI.

Thanks for the help. Now I can start planning my route. That link to the directory will be a big help.

Might want to reach out to Ed Laginess and see if you can visit him while you're in Michigan.

And if you've got a passport we're only 3 hours from Ed...

Jon, thanks. I am working on the passport. I want to visit the museum in Milton if possible and see if I can locate or find any info on the air cooled Monarch that may or may not still be there. I have been to Ed's place several years ago. Definitely on my radar if he is available. How far are y'all from Milton?
