Default Witte Iron Works

What, if any, is the difference between Witte Iron Works and Witte engine works? We have a 6 hp headless Witte in which the tag reads Witte Iron Works. I was wondering if they used this tag only for the larger engines or if it was an early/late style tag?

Have a 1915 3hp headless Witte here. Reads "Witte Iron Works".

The Witte Iron Works changed their name to The Witte Engine Works around 1916.
