Default Ground Hog Thresher wanted (w/photo)

I have been around threshers for a long time. I have run everything from the old Case Agitator hand feeds to the large wing feeder machines and everything in between. I have always wanted to find an old ground hog thresher. They were built around the 1850-1870 or so period. The photo I posted is a bit more elaborate model but you get the point. If any were to be found they would be more previlent in the eastern part of the country. Sometimes they were imported to the midwest by families pulling up their stakes in the east for the wide open spaces of the west as these small machines could be transported easily in a wagon. Anyone know of one for sale let me know, thanks, Dave

Darn, you're about 2 months too late Dave! I saw one go for about $100 in really nice shape with some spare parts in OR about the end of April... If I'd have only known.....

That is the story of my life, a day late and a dollar short, but thanks for thinking of me, and keep your eyes open.
