I hope to be in the same spot with a trailer load. Just across the foot bridge from Brady Baker...

If the weather is nice---Anyone want to volunteer to run the 8520 JD with the bean planter so I can be there. The A/C works, stereo jams and the seat is air ride

Rod we have some fields that are in Gods country that cant be seen from the road. Think one of them would work out fine, just no napping back there, a quick walk along the ditch to check for mushrooms is OK though.

Drive a big truck with cash to spend ! Bring gear for all four seasons.. We have seen them all in one day there before.

If you have a generator big enough to power the 4077 Mash unit.. leave it at home

Uncle Dennis, Steven and I plan to be there! We took the Choremaster butt buggy out for a test ride yesterday after fixing the hitch. It seems to be running good. We will be bringing Dad's snowmobile trailer to have increased capacity over the little yellow trailer! As you may remember, the little yellow trailer was filled to capacity with our purchases last year.

By the way, I was wondering who would start a Portland thread this year....

If you please, those experienced - Portland "newbee" questions?
1. They have showers on site, correct?
2. I am going to need electricity at night for CPAP. What are chances of getting an electricity site arriving Wed. AM? How much cord will I need? I suppose bringing a generator just in case?
3. Are there "space" rules? Just take what you need?

As Always, thanks. JimS

Jims ; my cpap has a built in adapter from 120 to 12 volt. I got a adapter with cigaret lighter plug and use a 12 volt auto batt and a female cigaret socket and it works just fine. I did put an in line fuse between batt and cigaret female socket .I've used it several years now.It should last a couple nights before it needs charging.Dick.

JimS,
They do have showers and flush toilets at 2 locations on the grounds. Porta potties located throughout.

I don't know about the availability of electricity in the "inner area". We are always in the "outer area" where there isn't any. Speaking for myself since we sleep in tents, if you use a generator, please use it responsibly and be sensitive about the noise for your neighbors' sake.

In the "outer area", we have just taken the space we need and it looks like others do the same. No one has told us any different. There are no site markings out there.

Jim S I use a small inverter that plugs in cig liter socket. I sleep in a tent and use a 25' extension cord to run my machine. No problem and I sleep fine.
