Hello UEEE,
I also have an Leblonde 17" Heavy Serial# ND 5096, Not sure of the date, but close to yours. Our lathe is used regularly. Still very accurate and dependable. Not sure about the quick change. Looks to be original. You made mention of some literature. I would like to take a look at it if possible. Have you gotten yours rebuilt?
