Default Hello, Question on a Wisconsin THD

Hello, I am new here and just got done re-assembly on my Wisconsin THD, i was wonder about how many RPM's this bad boy should idle at? Can't seem to get mine to idle less then 1,000 rpms.

Thanks Mike G.

Mike,

I checked my manual for idle speed but didn't find any reference. Lowest RPM's shown for running in a rebuilt unit was 1200-1400 RPM and I'm guessing this would be somewhat higher than idle. I kind of doubt the engine was designed to idle at less than 1000 RPM.
