Default Pendleton show 2014

I'm pretty early getting this going being that our show isn't until June, but I wanted to get some input on people that have attended our show in the past. We strive on making everyone happy and wanting to come back, so if there is any opinions, suggestions, bitching, whatever to improve our show please let me know. I will make sure to bring it all up to see if we can add or change whatever it may be. I think for the most part, we have done pretty good. It would be nice to have some more engine guys show up. We usually seem to get about the same amount of people every year. Our location is limited on the size of our show, but we can squeeze a few more in the park.

The BAD part about this year, is I wont be able to attend. Where I work we have an annual maintenance shutdown for 2 weeks every year, and it falls on our show week this year, and being the lead machinist, I wont be getting out of that one.

I will be showing up this year again. Won't be showing anything though. I am almost ready to start showing some things. I need to get a few more projects finished up. I think it would be fun. Love the park where the engines are set up.

It's right next to the Pendelton Roundup grounds.
I will get all the good stuff from the pawn shop before you get here;-)

Yes, forget trying to find anything in Hermiston before Mark does, its a waste of time..... As said, its at Roy Raley park, which is on the corner of 10th and Court Ave. Its a very nice location for a show. Plenty of shade, nice grass, a walkway along the river for the misses to check out while we are "wasting time with our junk" and there is a gas station and grocery store right across the street.

Thanks guys, I always try to stop at the Hermiston pawn shop when I'm down that way. They have good buys on tools and "cold blue steel" toys.

This weekend is the Pendleton show!!!
I should be there by noon on Friday.

Too busy to get something new ready to show, so I'll just bring the old trusty 3hp Gade that I've shown there in the past.

Anyone else on the Stak going to be at Pendleton?
I know a couple of the regulars won't make it this year, but hope some new exhibitors will show up as it really is a nice engine show and would be great if more collectors supported it.

This is one of the top shows in showing appreciation to the exhibitors.

I will be there early Friday to help setup. I am bringing about 5 engines this year and maybe a tractor

I also met a few guys at the Spokane show who said they were coming down.

George,
Are you going to run the Gade on a 9 volt battery like you did at the Brooks show 2 years ago? Ben In California

Ben,

Haven't decided which battery to run it from. I know from prior experience that it will run all weekend on a small 9v battery.

I'll be showing a few engines this year. Looking forward to running the Kohler 1A21 genset along with a Flying Dutchman that I got running for a local farmer.
