Default 1st Time at Coolspring

276 miles from Cortland, N.Y. and beautiful weather. Really enjoyed the fantastic collection of early engines at the museum. I took the FM Contractor's Special to show as not many collector's have seen one and it is a nice conversation piece. Enjoyed the great homemade ice cream too. It looks like it is a good idea to be there on Wednesday, as the by Friday noon the dealing is basically over and by Saturday half the exhibitors and sellers have left.

We enjoyed talking to you & seeing your unusual engine. It was our first time too & we had a blast. It was a ghost town by Saturday noon.

Remember that even though it clears out on Saturday, the museum still keeps the buildings open & runs the engines.
It's a nice time to relax & watch the monkey motion. (The ice cream line is much shorter too.)

That's actually what we did - the field on Friday, the museum exhibits on Saturday. And the line wasn't much shorter. The way just made it taste better (vanilla & butter pecan). Also, Buff's in Brookville had great home made ice cream.
