I can make petrolium from any organic stock and do so in about 5 min time. Not new tech, you just have to know what your doing.

The problem starts when the government tries to mandate that immature technology. Can you imagine if the government tried to get a computer in every home in the year 1950? It would have been a disaster and held back computer technology for decades.

How does one know when it's time to adopt a new technology? When it becomes cheaper than the old technology.
