Default How to Build Foundry Patterns

I'm going to show you my wood pattern making process this is for beginners buy building a foundry pattern for an angle plate that I'm going to have cast in this one we build the wood pattern out of pine an excellent pattern makers wood.

If you are making a replacement part, don't forget to add a shrinkage factor to your pattern! I think, for cast iron, in the area of about 10%? For bronze a little less?

yes it will be accounted for . nothing worse than bad fitting part thanks .
