Default Need help to identify Lauson Engine

The pics best describe motor.Wico ign,mech gov,suction carb with no markings.I know ill never find year as theres no tag.Bore is 2"x1.905.Thats the best i can do for info.

It looks like a Lauson model 55 to me. It was a pretty common cheap engine back in the day. I have seen them rated at 1-1/2 to 2 hp @ 3600rpm. Craig DeShong is our resident Lauson expert. If he does not chime in here, send him a private message. He has helped me out with my Lauson engines.

Found a thread by Chris DeShong.According to his thread its either a 55s or 55b.It has either wrong carb or wrong flywheel shroud.Although Chris says that there was an upgrade kit that used float carb mt2b with shroud mounted gas tank.Im just gonna go with suction carb and use a briggs tank.Could use a pdf manual for some info.Dont know if ill try and mount tank like factory did .I'll have to see if I can remove round tank mount from shroud to make it look somewhat orignal.
