Default The Alamo Engine Celebration in 2013.

The people who have owned the buildings (since 1986) where the Alamo engines were made are seriously thinking about hosting a 100th year celebration at the Alamo Engine Company, Hillsdale, MI location during the summer of 2013.

The Warehouse Manager (Alamo Division) in Hillsdale Michigan expressed his interest in acquiring an Alamo engine of no more than 3hp. He would like a running engine in restored condition and preferably with an ALAMO name tag rather than with a tag from other selling agents.

If you have an "Alamo Blue Line" engine fitting this description and you would be willing to part with it, let me know and I will put you in contact with these people.

Also if you would like to participate in such an event, please send me an email.

Thanks!
Denis Rouleau

Any idea when in the summer of 2013 they're thinking??
That'd be a neat idea for sure but I don't suppose I'll be able to talk Dad into starting into the Alamo until we get some of the other dozen or so projects we have on the go done...

I think they should have a show at the real Alamo. I could make that one.

The Badger Steam & Gas engine club does at their show grounds in Baraboo. Come to their swap meet the first weekend in May. The store will be open.

So, what was the result? Was a rally held? Any report or pictures?
