Question Maytag Model 92

lwt, just new to maytags and my problem is my open and close jet is broke off flush with the carburetor. anyone know how to get the jet out.

Tough job. Was it hit and the shaft snapped off or was it frozen and wrung off? If it was hit, you might get it out with a reverse twist drill, just about the same size as the shaft. Only go in about 1/4", If the drill does not back it out, then an easy out should. If the shaft was seized or the easy out/drill process does not work, then I guess you will need to replace the carb, unfortunately.

Thanks again Andrew, now I know why I paid 75 bucks for my maytag, cant afford 75 bucks more for another mixer body. engine in good shape and fireing good , just broke off jet and a little messed up where I tried to drill it out.

Shop around. ou might find one on evlbay or at one of our sponsors cheaper than $75 Maybe somebody with a blown engine can help you out!
