Smile Maytag Bike

There was a thread on a guy that made a bike look like it was built in the 1920s, and he used a Maytag twin. It worked but it needed gearing as the engine only puts out 1/2 HP at around 1200 RPM. I powered a 3 speed bike with a REO 404 engine many years ago. i was clocked by local PD at 50 MPH,on fresh pavement (I-280 before they opened it). A Jacobsen 321 powered a 2 wheel scooter, and I have seen several bikes powered by the small B&S engines (5-S, 6-S and others).
