Question 1952 John Deere A Tire Size?

I have a 1952 John Deere A and was wondering what size tires is correct for the front. I had a 5.50-16 bought and was told by a local collector that a 6.00-16 was the correct size for it. I am trying to make this tractor as original as I can, so does anyone know what brand of tires John Deere would have used in 1952?

Any Information Appreciated

Thanks

I believe 6.00X16 is the correct size & if I recall correctly, they used the old Firestone 3 rib as original equipment. We had a couple of A's back in the 1950's & it seems they were that size & I have a couple A's now that had that size when I got them.

I went back & looked at some books after making my 1st post. It seems that 5.50X16 is the correct size, after all. I looked at a few books & they all seem to agree on this. So .......It seems I did learn something today.
