Default Robin EX 27

9 hp robin/subaru engine. I had noticed the engine seemed to lack the power it once had. I have used in only 100 hrs or so. one day, I couldn't get it to crank and the plug was fouled out (I had thought it was running too rich or something). I replaced the plug, and now I am sure thecarb is out of adjustment. Where could I find some specs on the initial adjustment for this engine. I think it is a Mikuni carb. thanks Dennis Reid bremen ga 30110

I think that carb is only going to have an idle needle. At least in the service manual it shows no other fuel adjustments. It should be around 1 1/2 turns open from lightly seated but they generally have a limiter cap on the screw so you can't back it way in or out. It should also have an idle speed screw on the throttle shaft arm but this is only to set the idle speed and does not effect the fuel mixture. Good luck.
